Ro-HydroHub is a strategic research and innovation initiative that brings together academia, the industrial sector and the scientific community to develop a hydrogen industry in Romania. By creating an interconnected infrastructure, the project enables the transformation of innovative ideas into technological solutions applicable at large scale.

We develop advanced technologies for hydrogen production, storage and utilization, contributing to the transition towards a sustainable and competitive energy system.

Implementation in Rm. Vâlcea

The project was developed under the Smart Growth, Digitalisation and Financial Instruments Programme 2021–2027 (PoCIDIF), financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Total budget — 693,196,137.59 RON, of which 616,437,935.42 RON represents non-reimbursable financial assistance from the funds (ERDF/ESF+/CF/JTF). The activities will be implemented through a partnership between research entities and SMEs, with the aim of leveraging innovations on the national and international market. The project is implemented in Rm. Vâlcea over a period of 59 months.
